Young Sheldon was created in 2017 by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro. It’s a TV series that you can watch on Netflix. It has 7 seasons and 127 episodes, and it’s set in Texas, in the U.S.A.
It’s about Sheldon Coooper, a 9-year-old genius with Agesper syndrome who is a high school student.Sheldon has got brown spiky hair, brown eyes. He isn’t kind and friendly, that’s why a few people like him.
He has got a twin sister, Missy, an older brother, Georgie, and his parents are Mary Cooper, who works at a Baptist Church and George Cooper, a football coach. Sheldon’s grandma, Connie Tucker, lives nearby, and they often spent time together as a family.
The series starts on his first day of high school. On that day, Sheldon goes to the library. There, he meets Tam, a Vietnamese boy. They become friends and started to have lunch together at the library every day. Sheldon is quite happy in high school, but classes are too easy for him: he is a remarkable student in all fields of knowledge, he especially loves Math and Science. Since he already knows a lot, he is allowed to attend college once a week.
When Sheldon goes to college, he meets a girl of his same age, Paige Swanson. She is as intelligent as Sheldon. Sheldon sees Paige as a worthy challenge to test his knowledge, while Sheldon’s family welcome her with open arms.
Once high school finishes, Sheldon keeps going to college while he faces a lot of family problems. At college he meets two professors, Mr. Linkletter and Mr. Sturgis, who becomes close to him. Sheldon is so smart he can teach something to both of them. When Sturgis becomes sick, Sheldon worries about him and wants to visit him.
We chose this TV series because Sheldon is funny and very bright: it’s interesting to see such a person, who is so special and unique, dealing with life. He is different from the rest of the people, and that means he has something that other people don’t have. And this is Young Sheldon, a very nice TV series.
